Victorian Local Government Privacy Guide

In consultation with the Victorian Local Government Privacy Work Group, Records Solutions have developed a Local Government Privacy Guide. This publication acts as a guide to Local Government Agencies in Victoria and offers some useful examples to assist with compliance of the Information Privacy Act 2000 and the Health Records Act 2001.

The combinations of circumstances and the kinds of personal and health information arising daily through Local Government are vast and varied. The Local Government Privacy Guide is an ingredient, not an all-solving formula, in decision making under the privacy laws.

2010 Privacy Guide Purchases

The Victorian Local Government Privacy Guide 2010 (Release 9, Version 10) will be available in April 2010.

To order your copy please email enquire@rs.net.au to obtain an order form.

Updates for Council's that purchased the Guide in 2009 are available for $320 (excl GST).

First time purchases are available for $1,150 (excl GST).
